Jamaican American child is forced to find his own identity growing up among a culture
who preys on the weak. Through twists and turns he becomes absorbed in a lifestyle of

violence and greed satisfying his lust for power he puts his own soul on the line.

SYNOPSIS: Kingstown, is a crime thriller about a Drug Lord from Kingston Jamaica who left his hometown with his mother as a child after his father was brutally murdered.

Growing up in Miami, he seeks to find his identity among cultures who don’t respect
the Jamaican lifestyle or the people. It causes him to stir up the ingredients of respect,
power and wealth by any means necessary. The struggle between love and hate brings
him to the reality that there is only one way to find eternal truth, and his truth is to kill
or be killed. The journey of choices begins as this heart felt crime thriller judges the heart and mind.

LOCATION:
The first part of the film takes place in Kingtown Jamaica, we than transition to
Miami Florida. To get the authentic look for this film we will shoot about 5 days
in Florida, and will be able to cheat the rest of principal photography in locations
in the greater Los Angeles area. The right locations will be vital to the film. They
will play as another character to the story, giving the movie the heart it needs.
Locations will have to epitomize the heart of Miami and the scenes in Jamaica will
look as authentic as possible, even if cheated in Los Angeles.
